Melissa is a talented musician as well having excellent pedagogy skills. She relates to each student and can tailor to varying needs, styles, and levels. I have been a classroom music teacher for 21 years. Melissa started volunteering as an accompanist for my choir when she was in high school. She then studied music in college. When she became a piano teacher, I sent my own children to her for piano lessons. She has taught all 3 of them, relating to their individual personalities. She is professional, yet human, able to connect to children, their energy, struggles, as well as helping celebrate their success. I give my highest and unreserved recommendation.
