Melissa Block, a product of Metro-Detroit, is a seasoned educator and accomplished musician with a passion for nurturing the musical talents of students of all ages. With over two decades of teaching experience, Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge and a personalized approach to every lesson.

Early Beginnings

Melissa's journey in music education began at the young age of 15, when her natural gift for teaching shone through. Over the past 20 years, she has refined her teaching style and developed a curriculum that fosters creativity, technique, and a deep appreciation for music.

Education & Expertise

Melissa proudly holds a Music Degree from Michigan State University. Melissa's versatility as an instructor sets her apart. In addition to piano, she is proficient in classical percussion and violin. While in college she was able to maintain teaching private piano and percussion lessons, percussion ensembles, and beginning violin lessons. Her ability to excel in a wide array of musical genres allow her to tailor her instruction to each student’s unique interests and learning style.
